Resting Metabolic Test
Your Daily Calorie Needs
1) Take a seat on our couch and discover how many calories your body actually needs for an hour at rest.
All you need to do is sit and relax as you breathe into a device that analyses oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production. By assessing gas exchange, the test calculates your resting energy expenditure, providing insights into your basal caloric needs so you can optimise your daily nutrition.
2) Discover how training, age and body composition affects your RMR.
Knowing your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) enables you to tailor nutrition and exercise plans to your specific needs as well as aiding accurate weight management and fuelling for training or racing. Immediate test results to share with your coach or nutritionist.

Muscle Oxygen Test
1) Uncover your personal performance limiters with Muscle Oxygen Testing.
This advanced tool reveals how efficiently your muscles utilize oxygen during exercise, helping you understand your body's performance at various intensities. By identifying points where oxygen delivery or utilization falls short, this data empowers you to tailor your training plan, enabling you to more effectively reach your athletic potential.
2) This data provides real-time insights into muscle oxygenation during rest and at exercise intensities.
A muscle oxygen test uses near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) to measure oxygen levels in muscles. Non-invasive sensors placed on the skin emit light, which is absorbed differently by oxygenated and deoxygenated haemoglobin. It will give you a clear understanding of the factors currently limiting your performance and the knowledge to adapt your training for continuous progress.

VO2 Max Testing
1) Your VO2 max data reveals the efficiency of your cardiovascular system.
It indicates your aerobic fitness, endurance capacity, and performance potential. It also helps assess overall health, training effectiveness, and recovery. High VO2 max values suggest better oxygen utilization, aiding in optimal exercise intensity and reducing chronic disease risks.
2) VO2 max is the best indicator of longevity and it can be improved with training.
Measure your VO2 max at the start and end of a block of training to assess your progress. Using your own bike or our Wahoo KICKR bike, you will perform a controlled test with progressively increasing intensity until reaching maximum effort. Throughout, our equipment analyses breath-by-breath oxygen and carbon dioxide levels to accurately calculate your VO2 max. This test also includes muscle oxygen testing and use of a core body sensor to get the most detailed and accurate picture of how your body performs and its limiters. After your test you will receive a detailed report and test analysis video with full explanation and training tips.
