At Mapdec, we carefully hand-select brands that meet our high standards for quality, performance, and ride experience. The brands we’re proud to offer include TIME, LOOK, Wilier, FiftyOne, and 3T—all trusted for their engineering excellence and attention to detail.
We understand that some riders have a favorite frameset they love. If that’s you, bring your frameset to Mapdec, and we’ll build your bike to your exact specifications. You’ll handle the purchase of the frameset, and we’ll take care of the rest—crafting a custom build with the same precision and care we apply to all our bikes.
Choose Your Groupset
A groupset covers all the essential components that control shifting, braking, and drivetrain performance. This includes:
- Shifters and brake levers
- Front and rear derailleurs (also known as mechs)
- Brake calipers (front and rear)
- Crankset and bottom bracket
- Chain and cassette
Together, these parts work seamlessly to deliver smooth gear changes, efficient power transfer, and responsive braking—whether you're racing, climbing, or cruising.
Brands we primarily focus on for groupsets are Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo.
Choose Your Wheelset
Just like our approach to framesets, we carefully select wheelset brands that meet our performance and quality standards. Our preferred partners include FFWD, ERE Research, and Princeton, chosen for their reliability, innovation, and ride quality.
If you already have a set of wheelsets you love, we’re more than happy to incorporate them into your build. At Mapdec, we tailor every bike to your preferences, ensuring your custom ride is exactly how you want it.
Bike Fit Day Options
On Bike Fit Day, you can choose between an in-person bike fit at our shop or a fully assembled bike delivered directly to your door.
In-Person Bike Fit

Join us in our Bike Fit Studio for a personalized 60-minute fitting session. After your fit, our technicians spend approximately two hours making all necessary adjustments to your bike. Once complete, we wrap the bar tape, perform final checks, and you’re ready to ride out on a perfectly dialed setup.
Remote Fit & Delivery

If you’re unable to visit the shop, you can send us specific measurements—such as steerer tube height—and we’ll fully assemble your bike based on your fit details. Your bike will then be carefully packed and shipped to you through our trusted third-party delivery service, ready to ride upon arrival.
Meet Your Project Manager
Going custom comes with a lot of decisions. At Mapdec, we make that process clear, flexible, and fully supported. We specialise in custom bike builds—not high-volume retail sales of bike parts—so our focus is always on the complete project, not just the components.
Once your build specification is created, you’re free to source parts however it works best for you. You can purchase individual components from other retailers and have them shipped or dropped off at Mapdec, or you can source everything through us. Whether we supply all the parts, a mix of Mapdec and customer-supplied components, or everything comes from you, the approach is entirely your choice.
No matter the setup, every build is overseen from start to finish by our Custom Build Project Manager, Madeline. She ensures compatibility, quality, and execution, so your bike comes together exactly as intended—without guesswork or compromise.
