Brands we are fully trained and authorised to work with include:
Despite not appearing on dealer listings due to our non-sales dealer status, we are highly qualified and authorised to work with leading brands such as Bosch, Shimano, Fazua, Mahle, and Yamaha. Our technicians are extensively trained to provide top-notch care, fixing any issues with precision and expertise.
Please check the brand name on your e-bike motor unit, battery cover or in the service manual to find out what e-bike system you have before you book your service. Note: it is not the brand of your bike.
Other brands we can work on:
- Brose: We are not Specialized dealers. However, there is a support centre we can contact and can safely work on the majority of the system and defer to 3rd parties for work we can't take action on.
________
- Bafang: Although reasonably well supported in terms of training resources they do not supply their own batteries. This means they can often be fitted with problematic batteries with no known origin. There are suppliers of batteries in the UK whom we can work with, so we will look at these on a case by case basis.
_______
- Branded bikes from UK suppliers: There are brands we are familiar with, but there are new brands appearing all the time and we can’t list everything here. If in doubt, please look for a brand on your motor and battery and google them. If you find a website with a contact for service issues that is based in Europe then there is a good chance we will be able to service the bike for you. \
______
Motor Brand
We will check the brand of the e-motor unit at the service desk when you book in. We reserve the right to make our own investigations and refuse to service an e-bike that we are unsure of the origins of.
Unbranded batteries
We can not and will not accept any bike with unbranded batteries or motors. These are identified as common fire hazards and we can not have them on the premises.
We will also not accept any bikes fitted with unbranded motors and batteries for pure mechanical work as there can be a link between this and the failure of an electrical part. These restrictions have been placed by Trading Standards, and the general terms of our buildings insurance relating to fire hazards and our liability should the owner experience a house fire.
