Our Media Mission
Our aim is to share our workshop knowledge as validation of our mechanic’s skills and to help our channel viewers learn more about caring for their own bikes. We always provide an authentic, honest view of bike industry life and the products, tools and bikes we work with.

All our videos are completely free to watch with the exception of extended length and behind the scenes member only content. As well as Paul and other presenters you see on screen we have other Mapdec staff researching, editing and filming the videos.
We spend a lot of time on each video, doing our best to make sure they’re accurate and entertaining. We also read your comments and listen to what you tell us you’d like to see, or questions you’d like to have answered, and set out to make those videos.

Selected Partners & Video Sponsorship
In order to support the channel and the costs associated with making our videos, we will work with carefully selected partners to create sponsored video content. We will only work with partners whose products we believe in, products we already use in our workshop or ride in our free time.
Whenever our videos are supported by a partner or sponsor, we will display “includes Paid Promotion” at the beginning of the video and make it clear in the video as we discuss the attributes of a product.
We always aim to create videos which are informative and entertaining, regardless of whether content is supported by a brand or not.
We retain all control over the content of the video and do not provide any partners with the rights to tell us what to say, nor do we give them the approval of the final video, with the exception of checking for technical accuracy. You can trust that the opinions and reviews you see on this channel are always our own.
By working with partners we are able to make higher quality videos, film outdoors more and gain access to areas or products that we might not otherwise be able to. All of this adds up to better content for you the viewer.
In some cases, the partnership may also allow us to provide a special discount or offer directly to you. Where this is the case, it will be made clear in the video description how the offer is redeemed, and if we earn affiliate commissions from the relevant links it will be clearly stated.
