Mapdec Cycle Works is a hybrid workshop, custom build house, bike fitting studio, and active cycling media channel. We are technical road geeks who love precision wrenching, transparent customer service, and sharing our passion through YouTube, social media, and our local riding community.
We’re expanding our workshop team and looking for two passionate, cycle-obsessed mechanics to join us full-time in our Kendal facility.
Senior Road Bike Mechanic & Custom Builder
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 10am – 6pm
We’re hiring an experienced, technically adept mechanic who lives and breathes high-end road and gravel technology. You will lead bespoke frame builds, write accurate component quotes, and execute complex electronic drivetrain/hydraulic diagnostics.

Workshop Mechanic (Growth Path)
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 10am – 6pm
Looking to turn your passion into a long-term cycling career? We’re looking for a mechanic with 1–2 years of bike shop or cycling industry team experience who wants to master the stand. You’ll handle routine servicing, overhauls, and standard repairs under direct coaching, with clear opportunities to step up into custom builds, bike fitting, or media work as your skills grow.
