Right now we ALL have a new goal. We must be as healthy as possible to fight COVID19 when it finds us, we must have an effective immune system and a strong mindset for the weeks ahead. It is a rare thing that so many cyclists have such a common goal.
We have developed 3 coaching groups that use the skill and expertise of our team of 10 coaches to plan and deliver a programme of activities that will keep you healthy, fit and motivated. Using our own live content, and our handpicked 'best of the web' and regular online seminars, we want to offer you something positive, informative and motivational at this time.
Ok, let's get started. We have some technology admin to sort out, because all of this will be online for the foreseeable future.
Decide which group you would like to join:
Youth - For Ages 14-19 - Coached by Ben, Jacqui and Vicki
Beginner - For any fitness level and cycling experience, but new to fitness training. Coached by Paddy, Kath, Liz and Carol.
Advanced - For any fitness level but for athletes familiar with things like Heart Rate zones, RPE and Intensity. a little weight training and stretching. Coached by Paul, Sarah and Yen.
YOU MUST SELECT YOUR YOUR GROUP WHEN YOU SIGN UP IN THE APP. Existing users of our app, please contact the head coach of the group you want and they will add you. Use the 'Find Coach' tab to make contact.

TrainingPeaks is a free app and website that tracks your progress and displays your training plan. Your training plan will contain all the link to all the online content relevant to your group. It is a comprehensive tool, and we will guide you though using as much or as little of its capabilities as you like. There is a premium option, you will not need this to participate.
Once you are in, and have run through the set up steps connecting any devices you recognise you will need to link to my (Paul Vousden) Coaching page. Follow this link to make that connection.
Download the Mapdec App.
Search Mapdec in either the Google Play store, or the Apple App store. Create an account, select the group you want and wait for approval. This is where we will deliver content such as nutrition articles, workouts and track some elements of your progress. We will also keep in touch with group chat. Athletes can only talk to coaches and the whole group. This keeps things safe and focused.
Turn on your notifications both, in the app under your profile and on your phone in the settings.
Your coach will assign your training plan for week 1. (It is still a bit rough) We start on Monday with a webinar explaining how everything is going to work and introducing you to your coaches. Take a look around TrainingPeaks and The Mapdec app and prepare any questions you might have. Please use the Mapdec app to chat with our coaches.

And all of this FREE right? Yes. We want to do this! This is the best way we know of how to help and be a positive force in the fight against this virus. This is what we know and do best. Of course we have our own worries, so we have put up a donation button with a suggested £10 per week. If you are unemployed, a freelancer, or anyone that is struggling and anxious about the future.
