This 2 hour session is designed to help you put together your own structured training plan for your upcoming events. For example a plan for completing the Fred Whitton Round, or a PB in a 25 minute time trail, or a GB qualification for the European Championship.
We will cover the four phases of the training process, base phase, build phase, peak phase and tapering and how you can plan each of these phases.
The process involves identifying;
Your goals and objectives for the season.
Your strengths and weaknesses.
Your previous successes and any barriers to you achieving your goals.
One of the big concepts we will consider with you is the process of adaptation and the need for suitable rest and recuperation in order to further progress so that you can put together your own plan and arrive at your event ready to achieve your goal.
